Feist, -“1234”
I met Feist at the Winnipeg Folk Festival in 2006. Later that year, she asked me for some perspective and help with 1234 after having difficulty realizing it’s potential during the original Paris Sessions.
I added violins, synth and some electric guitars at my Vancouver studio, and a few days later she dropped by to record acoustic guitar and additional vocals.
Apple soon after picked it up for their iPod Nano launch campaign and it went viral…a worldwide hit…who knew…?
